Experience needs time, finances need experience

Partnership, professionalism and reliability were the maxims on which Paul Ramseier built his company in 1965. With his career as a federally certified accountant, many years of experience in a fiduciary office, then as head of the cantonal audit office and finally as a UN expert in what was then the Belgian Congo, he had acquired the tools for self-employment. A steadily growing customer base proved him right. Initially it was Prattler tradespeople - some of whom are still customers today - but the area of activity soon expanded to include the whole of north-western Switzerland.

Thanks to word-of-mouth recommendations from satisfied customers, there was a large influx of new customers. The workforce grew steadily, and by 1975 the previous offices in the family home on Neusatzweg were already too small. The new office building in which rta still operates was built in stages on the plot opposite.

In October 1995, the founder was able to hand over management responsibility to his son Rolf Ramseier, who had completed his professional training as a certified auditor with a major auditing firm after graduating from university. Paul Ramseier then gradually withdrew from active business activities. The management team was expanded to include experienced executives. Thanks to an extremely low staff turnover, the rta team has many years of operational and industry experience.

And the next "generation change" is already on the horizon: Alain Wenger will gradually take over management responsibility from Rolf Ramseier. This internal succession solution will ensure the best possible continuity in our family-run company.
